What are maca powder and baobab powder?

Have you ever heard about MACA or BAOBAB powders?

In other words, they are known as superfood. Because it is ultra healthy and gives you a health kick.

Maca powder is very famous in Peru where it comes from. It raises your energy in a balanced way. It seems to be a good source of quality protein, it helps to build muscles and balanced the hormones.

Baobab powder is a natural source of wellbeing in Africa for centuries. It is an excellent source of vitamin C, calcium, potassium, fiber and vitamin B6. It is high in antioxidants, improves energy levels, boost your iron levels and support your immune system.

How to do a smoothie bowl?

Above all, you don’t need special skills. The ideal would be to have 1 frozen ingredients amongst the two. Either frozen banana and fresh mango or frozen mango and fresh banana to reach the perfect texture.

You blend.

It’s done !

The more powerful is your blender the smoother your smoothie bowl will be. But a Nutribullet works very well for a start. If you want to invest into a high speed blender, my favorite are Vitamix or Blendtec.

What do I recommend for topping ?

I always find that topping is a great way to add more texture and nutrients to your bowl. I pick up colors that matches my bowl to make it beautiful and appealing. As a foodie, my meal has to be beautifully arranged because beauty is happiness.

In this tropical smoothie bowl, I add extra fresh mango pieces, fresh or freeze dried raspberries or strawberries for their deep color and berry flavor and some chia seeds for protein and an extra crunch.
