Fresh Coconut Water After Workout Drink Or To Mix Into Your Morning Smoothie

The whole family loves to drink fresh coconut water, especially straight away from the coconut ! It’s naturally refreshing and it gives us the feelings of holidays.

The natural flavor of coconut water is so good and it’s naturally healthy ! It’s the clear liquid in the fruit’s center that is tapped from young, green coconuts.

You can find fresh coconut in every supermarket in Bahrain. The best price I have spotted so far was at Lulu.

How to stay away from fizzy drinks?

Fizzy drinks are all over the market and it is sometimes difficult (especially for the young generation) to stay away from them.

At home, I clearly don’t have any fizzy drinks at all. We drink water and very often detox water.

Another option is making a smoothie, juicing, or opening a fresh coconut. It makes a huge difference as we basically drink vitamins. And this way we keep our bodies healthy.

Top Tip about coconut !

It is sometimes a bit tricky to open a young coconut, but here is a video that will definitely help you to do it quickly and easily !

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 young coconut

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Cut carefully the top of one coconut and use the water as a drink or in your smoothie !
  • Keep the water in your fridge for up to 3 days. You can keep the (unopened) coconuts for at least 1 week in your fridge.
