Variations for this three berries compote

Actually a compote is basically baked fruits and you can do your compote with fresh fruits or even frozen fruits. If you use frozen fruits, add them frozen to the pot and cook for few extra minutes.

If I like to mix strawberries, blueberries and raspberries together for its delicious taste, this recipe is a basic for any other fruit compote or puree too like peaches, blackberries, cherries, cranberries, apple (it might take a bit longer to cook them). You need to check that they are very soft and break easily to be pureed.

Finally, if you are looking for combining your fabulous compote with some tasty waffles, you might be tempting to cook my delicious grain free waffles or nut free sweet potato waffles !
