Grilled Avocado & Easy Ponzu Sauce

Grilled Avocado with easy ponzu sauce. Made only in 15 minutes and only 5 ingredients. So easy so good. #dairy free #nutfree #vegan #glutenfree // liveandtaste.com

I am a BIG avocado lover. I can eat avocado for breakfast, lunch and dinner.ย So let’s go for another scrumptious recipe, it’s a grilled avocado with an easy (another easy recipe) ponzu sauce that I have upgraded my way.

It is the perfect snack or even post workout breakfast with a lot of healthy fats, fiber, vitamins and minerals. This simple but so pleasing recipe combines the creaminess of the avocado with a tangy easy ponzu sauce.

It’s definitely a happy summer dish (and it’s perfect for an Easter brunch). Avocados are my kind of Easter eggs !

Why to grill the avocado?

In this recipe, you are not cooking the avocado but transforming the texture and flavor.

It is easy to prepare (you only need 10 mins and few ingredients) and it’s so filling and satisfying. The easy ponzu sauce is made in a whisk… and if you have some leftover, you can drizzle it on your next salad for an asian touch and taste.

Top Tip about avocado and ponzu sauce

Avocado has a lot of health benefits : naturally nutrient-dense food, it contains nearly 20 vitamins and minerals.

If you like avocado as much as I do, check out these DECADENT avocado recipes : avocado cilantro dipavocado butternut salad or the green popsicles!

Finally, I use ponzu sauce in this recipe for its flavors. It is a Japanese citrus sauce that you can find in any organic shop.

If you need a quick substitute, soya sauce and lemon juice (even parts) can replace ponzu sauce.

Healthy grilled avocado and easy ponzu sauce and…

Perfectly tasty, delicious, healthy and so yummy !
