  • 1 tsp sweet miso paste
  • ½ tsp rice vinegar
  • ½ lime, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

GRILLED AVOCADO

  • 1 avocado, cut in half
  • 2 tbsp sprouted quinoa or roasted sesame seeds (optional)
  • To taste fresh ground pepper and Himalayan salt

INSTRUCTIONS

EASY PONZU SAUCE

  • To make the easy ponzu sauce, put all the ingredients together in a bowl and whisk well. Set aside.

GRILLED AVOCADO

  • Cut the avocado in half, using a sharp knife and take the stone out.
  • Brush the avocado with some easy ponzu sauce and let marinate few minutes.
  • In the meantime, take a skillet (grill pan) and heat it up to maximum heat.
  • Place the 2 halves avocado into the skillet downturned. Grill it for about 4-5 minutes until the avocado is getting a little softer and you get the grill traces on the avocado halves.
  • Place half avocado on a serving plate, with the rest of the ponzu sauce on the side for more dipping and with some lime slices.
  • Drizzle the other half avocado with more ponzu sauce and/or some lime on top. Put the sprouted quinoa seeds or the sesame seeds on a small plate and head the avocado with the cut face down in the sprouted quinoa or sesame seeds, squeeze slightly.
  • When covered with seeds, put the avocado carefully on the serving plate.
  • Season the avocado halves with salt and pepper and enjoy it immediately !
