INGREDIENTS
1package firm regular tofu, cubbed (approx. 300 gr)
2spring onions (white and green), diced
1-2 cmfresh ginger, grated
3garlic cloves, grated
ΒΌcuptamari
1 tbspwater
2 tbsproasted sesame oil (or regular sesame oil)
1-2 tspchili flakes
Fresh ground pepper to taste
1 tsptoasted sesame seeds for topping
1 tspgreen nori sprinkle from Clearspring for topping (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium bowl, combine all the ingredients (except the tofu) and whisk them together.
Cube the tofu (raw fish or vegetable) and place it into an airtight container. Pour in your marinade and stir with a wooden spoon to be sure to distribute evenly. Close your container and keep in the fridge for 30 to 60 minutes. When you take it out, turn the container upside down to distribute the sauce one more time. Remove the tofu, save the sauce if you want some extra. Enjoy this marinated tofu with my poke bowl that contains rice and delicious vegetables.
