Place 1 cup of desiccated coconut in a frying pan and set over medium heat.
For a salty version, add 1 tablespoon of soya sauce.
Stir it constantly (don't stop) for 1 to 3 minutes or until it starts to brown. Turn off the heat and continue stirring until you reach a beautiful medium golden brown color.
Remove immediately from the pan (because it burns very quickly) and allow to cool completely. Enjoy !
