Delicious butterbeans, broccoli pan with a pesto sauce.

Yield: 2 large portions

BUTTER BEANS BROCCOLI WITH PESTO

A completely vegan dish and totally satisfying ! Tasty and for all eaters, a success ! 

Ingredients
 

  • 2 cans butter beans
  • 1 small head broccoli
  • 3 large tbsp green pesto, (try our green arugula pesto)
  • 1 pinch of fresh ground pepper
  • 1 tsp tsp olive oil

Instructions
 

BUTTER BEANS AND BROCCOLI

  • Open the 2 cans of butter beans and wash them under clear water.
  • Wash the broccoli and cut it into pieces.
  • Steam the broccoli for 5-7 minutes.
  • Heat a pan with olive oil.
  • Add the butter beans into the pan and heat them up.
  • When ready, mix the broccoli in.
  • Add the pesto sauce and mix well altogether. Let it sit for 3-5 minutes to make it flavorful. Stir occasionally.
  • Place on a plate and serve immediately.

BLACK RICE

  • Wash 1 ½ cups of black rice and place it with the double amount of water in a pan.
  • Let it cook for about 25-30 mins or cook according to the packet instructions.
