INGREDIENTS
1 tspmatcha green tea powder
½cuphot water (70°C - 85°C not boiling)
½cupalmond (or cashew) milk
1-2tsphoney, maple syrup, or stevia to taste - (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Sift 1 tsp of matcha powder through a sieve letting the powder fall directly into your cup.
Add half of the hot water to the cup and using a bamboo whisk or a regular whisker, whisk briskly in a up-and-down direction, to make a thick, soft and frothy consistency.
Then pour the remaining hot water to it and stir again. Place on the side.
Use a milk frother to warm and froth the milk. Or warm the milk in a small pot for few minutes on medium heat whisking regularly for a frothy consistency.
