When you have kids at home and you try to cook plant-based recipes, a fake ketchup sauce is mandatory on your menu. This sauce is right perfect and contains only the GOOD stuff.
Himalayan salt or gomasio and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
Wash and cut tomatoes in half.
Chop onion and garlic into small pieces.
Heat one pan with olive oil and stew the onion and garlic for 3-5 minutes.
Add tomatoes and let it cook for about 5 minutes.
Then, put the pan on the side and let it cool down.
In the meantime, cut the dried tomatoes into pieces and place them with apple cider vinegar, tomato paste, honey, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper in a food processor.
Then add the cooled tomato mixture from the pan and pulse all the ingredients together until smooth.
Taste it and spice it up as you like. Keep it in the fridge for up to 1 week.
