COCONUT WHIPPED CREAM

Lovely alternative if you are looking for non dairy whipped cream. Don't hesitate to let it harden in the fridge as depending of the brand, some coconut cream doesn't "whipped" that well.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cans coconut milk (full fat) - (from Chef's choice)

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Chill the 2 coconut milk cans in the fridge overnight.
  • About 1 hour before making the coconut whip, chill in the fridge a mixing bowl and the beaters from a hand mixer.
  • Open the cans very carefully (avoid shaking) and scoop out the solid white coconut cream into the cold mixing bowl. Discard the coconut water and save it for your morning smoothie.
  • Using your electric hand mixer, beat the cream for about 3 minutes or until fluffy and smooth. Add the orange zest,...and beat again.
  • Before serving, it is best to refrigerate to let it harden in the fridge (the longer the firmer it will be).
  • Keep it in the fridge for up to 4 days.
